I have been looking for a small TV. This gets great reception on the UHF channels, not as good on VHS channels. When we go HD, it should pick up the channels. You need the remote to work the TV. That is a little annoying. Sound is way better with headphones, of course. Having two headphone jacks is a nice feature and I can see this being used on the road with the included car jack. I'm glad I bought it!

My daughter just started using this item recently; it seems okay. Although, the volume is not as high as we want it to be. Another thing that worries me the little plug that connects the battery from the unit seems to be unreliable.

This little TV/DVD player works pretty good for what I use it for. The reception on the TV isn't always the greatest, but because it's being used in an industrial area with a lot of interference I really can't falut the TV for that, I get all the stations except for ch 2. The sound quality is very good and the DVD video quality is excellant. Overall I would recommend this little TV.

Picture is pretty good and everything is operational. Directions say 2 hrs battery life which seems to be cutting it close. The TV came in ok. I played a few minutes of a DVD and it seemed fine. I was impressed with an earlier review that the TV is digital and will work when the required digital conversion takes place. As far as I can tell I got what I paid for and maybe a little bit more.

I could not figure out how to use the t.v. and the instructions are not specific. When I did, finally figure out how to hook it up, the picture is very snowy. The DVD works good but I could have bought a DVD player alot cheaper if that was all that I had wanted. I was not all that satisfied with the product.

I have owned others that cost more and this one is the best. Good picture and sound. Only down side is the short battery life of 2.5 hours per charge, so I just bought a back up.

This system is great. small with great features and since it has a digital tuner and the fcc starts broadcasting in digital only in 2008. this is clearly a great buy. lrspaddy

Which is to be a portable DVD player. This one just happens to have a TV tuner in it as well. And it didn't do too badly pulling in signals, no worse than any other small portable TV relying on a 24" antenna. It also worked exceptionally well with my cable system. The two main drawbacks I found were a seriously underpowered audio system and over dependency on the remote control. Lose the remote for this thing and you're sunk. All the same, very pleased with the unit on the whole.

i had hoped after returning the first item that the replacement would perform a bit better. although the remote this time was responsive, i found the response to be unpredictible, reception barely toleratable.

I thought this would be perfect for traveling and at work...but the TV reception is bad and watching DVD's on this not good at all. I don't like the quality

This lightweight, high-performance DVD player/ TV is versatile. Plays a wide variety of disc formats, both audio and video with high-quality reproduction. The screen is terrific, with plenty of detail, good color, and wide viewing angles. The TV tuner is a nice feature, but it is NOT an ATSC tuner - it tunes regular analog TV signals off air and from cable, but CANNOT receive the new digital broadcasts. I got this unit because I thought it was the first portable TV with ATSC tuning, but was disappointed when I found it only receives regular analog broadcasts, which will soon stop, leaving the tuner feature useless. As it is, reception off air is mediocre, and a cable connection and/or external antenna is recommended. Otherwise, the player is a great performer and a good value. I informed Overstock over two days ago of the error in description, but that has not yet been corrected. They do recognize, however, that the unit indeed is NOT capable of ATSC tuning. I kept the unit anyway, because it is a very good performer for what it actually is, and would have rated it 5 stars if it truly had ATSC capability.
