I bought it for my 5' Garmin nuvi 1450. The moment I got it out of the packaging my GPS unit went right in and zipped. It has all these extra pockets for SD cards, thumb drives ... ... ... but serves the purpose for my need. It's very functional and looks good. I leave the cord in the cars and bring the GPS unit in so it works well. Un-plugging the cord and then reeling it in every time seems like a lot of waste of time to me. I bought an extra cord and and holder from O for our 2nd car now we just carry the GPS if we need it in the other car. I'd highly recommend this case for GPS.

When I first saw this item on the website it seemed perfect for storing my Seagate portable HDD. But after I received it I was a bit let down. It did not have enough space to store the HDD, cable and my recovery thumbdrive that I also carry. It also has a set of nylon straps but they cannot be used to hold the HDD inside the case, so when the case is opened I risk dropping the drive on the floor. I should have gone to Target or the likes and actually looked for a case instead of taking my chances online. I am not unhappy with my purchase, just a bit underwhelmed. As far as the price it was not a spectatular bargin.

Very recently purchased a "Sandisk" promo (2/$) 4GB SDHC memory cards on-line elsewhere, but neither of the two cards included the protective snap-case. Bought 2 of these fine media wallets to separate & safely store, multiple memory cards and flash drives w/ identical content for back-up & safe keeping. Zippered case looks exactly as pictured (minus..hard drive) inside & out. Good quality, & simply fabulous for my purpose or daily use. {I support earlier reviews: = case (Depth: 1 1/8" in.) is too shallow, & product packaging doesn't actually present item as a portable hard drive case - much better suited for compact flash memory accs.}

This a nice little case for flash drives or cards. It is not big enough for a usb hard drive.

I just got this in the mail. I am using it to store a LaCie Rugged External hard drive. It is a very, very tight squeeze. The packaging says nothing about it being a "portable hard drive case." It is simply entitled "Media Wallet." "Fits Memory Sticks, CompactFlash, Smart Media Flash, and Secure Digital Media cards." This, of course, is more accurate. There is ample storage for these small accessories, none of which I will be utilizing (for the time being at least). Bottom line: This would be a great case for camera accessories, but if you are looking for a portable hard drive case, keep looking.
