Surprisingly good quality sound for small speakers. The remote is very handy and easy to use. The controls on the player are a bit confusing but can be deciphered with a little patience. The unit includes a clock but there are no directions provided for how to set it. If an incorrectly set time annoys you, here's how to set it: Plug in unit but do NOT turn it on. Press PROGRAM Key; press PROGRAM again to select 12-hour read out. Press PROGRAM, the hour flashes. Press FWD >> or REV << until correct hour is displayed. Press PROGRAM, minute flashes. Press >> or << until correct minute is displayed. Press PROGRAM.

Tiny, but adequate for the space designated for it!

I am new to vinyl and anything vinyl. This magnificent player is usable right out of the box, you simply remove the needle cover and replace it once not in use. I had no idea how to use it in the beginning, but I love the fact that the needle is moved by hand on the vinyl but still has an automatic feature to stop playing once it reaches the end(in-case you fall asleep listening or something). The player itself is a little more reddish than pictured, but color was not a factor in my choice to buy, it is very stable and durable. I've read on other vinyl players that they seem flimsy and delicate. This is not the case when it come to this player. As for the sound quality, the speakers on the unit work perfectly and sound great(The room it is in has wood flooring so they may sound louder than normal). The radio works well and from its placement gets great reception. On the back of the unit is a red and white line out for connecting to other(better) speakers and a switch to turn off auto-stopping. Overall I am more than pleased with this unit and believe it is a great beginners buy. I only have 1 problem with this unit and it's that it doesn't have connection for headphones. The guy also dropped this off at my neighbors house but that is not Overstock's fault.

The sound is good for where I am using this system. It is not intuitive in programming and figuring it out and there is very little instruction. It is compact and fits well in the space. The first system sent to me did not have the screws to hold the tower together. Overstock corrected this problem immediately.

This radio/CD player work great. The only thing is I wish the remote button had back lights so it would be easier to use at night.

This is a good record player to plug into an amp. The little speakers are good for a bedroom but if you would like to use it in a large room it can be kind of a small sound. Ready to use right out of the box. Auto stop is amazing. Regular sized records don't fit all the way in the box, there is a slot in the back. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Okay, so I needed a cheap turntable being a college student and all. I love it, me and my boyfriend use it all the time. Seeing as how Vinyl sounds way better than anything else anyways its already that much better. But it's nice and little and the speakers are good, and it even has radio (i've never used it though) Anyways it's a nice turntable, I love it and it's worked great for me so far.

Having read about the tone arm problems in prior reviews where the arm would scratch its way across without playing, I thought they weren't using the correct ballast on the tone arm, having decades of in depth experience from a high end phonograph. But I found the tone arm was too short, the cartridge head small and not flat and no matter what ballast I attached to the cartridge, the arm skipped across without engaging with the record. And these were well made 50 year old records. I am returning this disappointing machine.

I mainly bought this because it was reasonable and I had credit, and I wanted to use in a vacation apartment that I only spend a few months a year in. The design is attractive, the sound ok, but the remote has to be directly positioned in front of the stereo (and not too far away) in order for it to work. It's almost easier to change the stations/functions by hand rather than have to fool around trying to get the remote in the "just right" postion to be usable. Other than the remote issue, it's a decent stereo for the price.

This is the most difficult thing I've ever had to figure out how to use, and I still haven't mastered it. Sound is only fair.

I can't say enough about how excited I have been about making this purchase. The Karaoke USA system is an awesome machine for those people who just want to entertain family and friends with hours of fun and music. It comes ready to go out of the box including some cds. Just plug in your mics and power plug and your good to go. The unit has great sound and looks pretty sharp. I had hours of fun with my nieces and some friends. If you wanna give your voice a break then pop in a movie and sit back and relax because this unit also doubles as a DVD player using its built in color monitor. You just can't beat it at this price point. A great gift for yourself or someone who loves to get on the mic and sing there heart out.

I already had a cd/radio/tape cassette player upstairs in my loft bedroom for when I used my exercise equipment; however, there were times when I just wanted to listen to the news and it was cumbersome and inconvenient to go up the stairs and lug it down. So, I decided to buy this little gem that I can easily transport all over the house and have the news to listen to, or music to sing along with and dance to. I highly recommend this, and am thoroughly delighted with it! Great product and excellent value at an impressively low price!

The Studebaker Record Player has a rich sound. It is easy to use. The cabinet makes a smart addition to the living room furniture. The controls are easy to set. Some care must be exercised in playing the larger 33 1/3 speed records because the space in the interior of the record player is tight. The arm of the unit stays stationery when the record is finished. It's necessary to pick up the arm manually and place it back into the station. All-in-all, the unit functions well and the sound is great. I would purchase another product by Studebaker.

Good: Sound is clear. Multiple ways to play music. Using an SD card for example. Bad: Tuning is analog. Digital display does not function for radio tuning. Power cord does not stay in well.

Was very excited to give this as a Christmas gift, but was embarrassed by the quality when it was opened up. It has very few functions. (No left/right balance control, bass, treble or any other functions other than volume.) It is also very bulky and screams cheap plastic. Sound is not very good either. Makes me very skeptical buying from Overstock again.

It took me a little bit to get used to the controls, but the amplifier actually sounds pretty good. The remote does not have an on/off switch for the amp. For the price, it is a good value. I would recommend it.
