Philips DVD Micro Theater System (Refurbished)

I was excited to receive this product, it was the right size, easy to connect, and the sound was good. But It was skipping badly on every CD I tried, never got to DVDs. I had a replacement sent and it did the same thing but not as bad. I gave up on this product and returned it for a refund.

I ordered this because someone gave me a gift cert to Overstock.com and I really like it, it makes the sound on my DVD's and CD's much better than with my old system. Overall, a huge bargain. Shipped right away, got it like four days after I ordered it. :)

works great. i have a hard time with the remote; the player doesn't seem to be very receptive of it (new battery, too). The sound, for a small system is awesome. there aren't any extra bass controls or anything and the dbb button, which is supposed to boost the bass, just makes it sound like a loud mess--it's pretty unnecessary. So, the features are pretty average, but you don't really need any more if you're only going to pop in a cd or a dvd with really great sound.

This Philips DVD Micro Theater was the perfect component to add to my Bedroom tv . It took less than 10 minutes to hook up and used less space , speakers and all , than my old DVD-VCR Combo . The Huge sound this little system belts out makes my 27" tv appear much larger when I'm watching a movie . The DVD Player also plays regular music CDs and the sound quality is just as impressive . The FM Tuner is a nice bonus and the extra Auxillary Input allows you to add another component to this system . Another cool feature is the Wake Up Timer that turns this system into an Alarm Clock and makes this the perfect addition to the Bedroom .

I bought this system as a gift for my 15 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! It was easy to put together, the instructions were easy to follow, and it sounds great! I play my music in her room when she isn't home.
