My husband has an older computer. Our new external hard drive required a USB2 port. So never having changed a USB card, away we went buying this one. The card went in easily and he was backing up his computer in a few minutes greatly impressed with the new speed. He moved his mouse and keyboard over to the card and has been very happy with them for a couple of months now.
