Ideal for use with Ethernet LAN, Broadband, Modem, and other CardBus expansion cards, the adapter eliminates the expense of having to replace your existing CardBus cards for the sake of compatibility.

I bought this adapter to use with a Sprint Pantech 500 air card on a Gateway computer that has Vista. At first it kept locking up the computer, then I diabled the modem and mouse on the computer and plugged in a USB mouse. After that it worked great!
