Just what I wanted and definitely needed. I've attached tags to each "arm" so re-connecting the appropriate device is a snap. Makes moving devices so much easier.

Never received the product. Product mailed to Chicago, then rerouted to the Bronx NY. Overstock tracked/traced item, never found. By time of response, Overstock did not have item "in Stock" any longer and could not replace. Gave refund to me. Too bad, I really wanted the item, as I received several add on items for Christmas to support my notebook and the Squid High-Speed 7-Port USB 2.0 Hub would have been ideal for operating them. Such is life.- there are disappointments.

good price, works well so far and a little easier to use than other styles because the flexible USB connectors make some hook ups easier.

Somehow, when I read high-speed, I thought it could handle demanding usb devices, but it doesn't get enough juice to power a small external hard drive or charge my iPad. It also has what looks like a plug on the side - like you can get a power cord for it. But it did not come with a power cord. I wonder if it would work better if it was plugged into power.

This works great for my MacBook. I use an external keyboard and mouse and since my MacBook only has two USB ports this was problematic when I needed ports for my iPod, Kindle, headset, and external hard drive. Now I can have everything plugged in with plenty of room to spare. And you *really* can't beat it for the price.

I was not able to connect my external Disk at the fastest speed through this connector like I believed the description said I could. I juggled device connections and plugged the disk in directly to my laptop. Everything else seemed to plug and go.

product not consistently reliable, replaced it with powered one

It is convinent, but ports do not stay tight & be come loose & you lose your connections. I have a smaller port & will go back to that one. Not a good port for Laptops that move around a lot. May work fine on a PC only.

The only thing I can say for the product I received is it was black. I purchased it because it was listed as a high speed usb 2.0 product and I purchased a 12mp digital camera and 4gig card from Overstock and the low speed hub I had wasn't cutting it. When I plugged in this product and plugged my devices in I got the same message I got with the old hub, for faster speed plug your device into a high speed 2.0 port. So my purchase was fruitless. Now the 4 port I got from *** doesn't do that!

This works great and I really needed more than the 4 port I already had. I would recommend this product to all my computer savvy friends.

Perhaps I didn't read or understand this product but I was disappointed when I couldn't download books to my ipod or mp3 player using this hub. It did seem to work fine for charging so I will get some use from it and the price is good.
