Over all this TV is excellant. I purchased for my 6yr old and he loves it. The size was bigger than I though it was going to be and the price was perfect. Toysrua wants $299 for this tv. I would rather buy a 22" for that price, but this was a good price for the size and the quality is great, I would recommend this to some one looking for a child's lcd.
Blu-Ray and television networks use 1,920 dots on 1,080 lines, 'High Definition 1080" but this screen is only 1,024 x 768, so you see 1,024 by 576 "letterboxed" standard definition. Difference not noticable if you watch far enough away. You would only buy this for it's novel shell, or that it's quite cheap for a flat panel. Lacking a "Clear QAM" tuner, this does not get cable-only networks until hooked to a cable converter box.
This Television is very compaq and lightweight. Sound is good and the picture is very clear. My daughter is very happy with the television and with her being a teenager it does take a lot for a response and she did. I am very pleased with the product that I purchased.
