I bought this because it looked like it would put out some sound...I hooked my Ipod to it and turned the volume up in both and didn't put out the sound I thought it would. It'd be great if it was louder.

I bought this for my mother so that she could hear the TV better. It did not have quite the sound quality that we were looking for - but for the price, it was worth it.
