fab322 from Aransas Pass, TX, Rating:4.0These are sturdy two way weather proof speakers. I now have four (4) of these speakers on my Patio. Since they are 4 OHM, I wired them in series in a crossfire (X) situation. I first hooked them up parallel to an inexpensive 100 watt reciever I bought to leave outside, I was unimpressed. The highs were tinny and midrange was weak bass was ok. Spaciail imagery was poor. After I rewired them they seemed to come alive, sound is clear across the spectrom. At low volume, the sound is clear and at high volume (which you can hear a block away) it is still clear with no hint of clipping. I listen to an oldies radio station (60's - 80's) and am now hearing notes in the music that I never heard before. The spacial imagery is now outstanding, the patio is 20' x 46' and there is about an 8' band across the patio where you are totally enveloped in sound. cpang from Auburn, WA, Rating:4.0I actually needed some white speaker mounts, but the manufacturer said it would be at least 30 days until they became available, so I purchased the black ones instead and spray painted them white using Rustoleum paint. After a few coats, they look great! I mounted 2 vertical cube speakers to each mount (similar to Bose style). The only downside is that if the speakers are rotated 'off centerline' of the mount, the speakers will droop a little. I had to fudge the adjustment a to get the right angle so the speakers wouldn't droop. I made sure the hex nuts were fully tightened but the speakers still drooped down on one side. You probably won't have this issue if the speakers are lighter weight. All in all, looks very good in my living room.

lvlisterdeus from Houston, TX, Rating:3.0opened and installed. first thing that turned me off about them is that they are hard wired with the flush mount bracket intact. only way to switch the mounting brackets is to cut and splice the wires. downfall number one. secondly, after installation, i was playing the first song with them hooked up and one of them started crackling. left the lights hooked up and just bought a set of kicker tweets. the lights illuminate my whole car. I have a 92 mazda miata, so dome lights are a no go. That's a plus at least. I suppose....
