  Good dock puts out a bunch of sound. its biased to the base response but then again normally thats what little speakers like these have a problem with. this has no problem filling(and more) out bedroom. Everything worked, remote is fine. Would have never known it was a refurb unit and I checked to see if i could tell(looked for smudges,scrapes,rips/snags in grill fabric...looked like it was 100% NIB when i got it. Works well with our newest gen Ipod nanos pretty simple plug and play. Id recomend this to others. I cant talk to the portability of it as I dont plan to be taking it much of anywhere nor did i buy it to be portable. so thats a moot point. Whay I can say is for its size it puts out decent to impressive sound gets good bass turnout for its size.

  I was very excitied to see how well the product was made and the ease of the controls and the way I can play with a cord and/or batteries.

  Good sound, ipod sounded great. Nice features include syncing with mp3 player and remote. A gift certificate made this purchase more amiable

  This was one of those purchases that I debate cause it was refurbished but I could not be happier that I got it Works great sounds great I even dropped it off the table and no issues. It is a bit of an odd shape so it takes up some room but fits ipad iphoone ipod pretty much any apple product we tried to hook up to it best feature in my opinion

  Simple to use, damn good sound for the money and size. Compares favorable to my much, much more expensive Bose (although the Bose is also portable and this unit is not.)
