Overall good purchase for my needs. Slow to start up, has good graphics, speakers below par. It is stated Built-in stereo. Far from it.

I have had the laptop for about a month now and it is ok. The mouse pad is not very good. Sometimes it does not want to respond. Also, I feel that sony waisted a lot of space around the key board. The screen is nice and it is ok, but not great.

The only thing that needs to be done is the memory will need to be upgraded in my laptop. 1GB is not enough to run Windows Vista, but overall I am completely satisfied. The price couldn't be beat and the quality is perfect considering the machine is refurbished. I would recommend Overstock.COM to anyone.

I was looking for a laptop for work and had a fairly limited budget; after substantial research I purchased this unit. So far my experience has been wonderful. Shipping was on time and the product was not only what was promised but in fact was a moderate upgrade due to what I understand was a stock shortage. I was suspicious as to whether or not it was an actual "upgrade" but looked into it and in fact that was true. The laptop is so far fast, reliable, and ergonomically well designed. I would and do recommend Overstock and this computer to friends and family.

I did research about what to look for in a laptp. This one seemed to have everything I needed. However, I didn't do enough research on the sound card installed on this notebook. It is a very basic, simple sound card that does not allow for upgrades unless you take it apart and install a new one. That is way over my head. Also, the description I read stated battery power lasted 5.5 hours. In reality it lasts about 2 hours and it is even stated that way on the Sony website. This was totally misrepresented on the Overstock description. I also did a more through search when Overstock sent me an"upgraded laptop" from the one I ordered. Turns out I paid the highest price out there for this laptop. I found them for $200 cheaper almost everywhere else. But...I know prices fluctuate. I like it. I works.

Great laptop and it found my wireless connection lickity split..........I was worried about the "refurbished" aspect of it but am as please as I can be. It does everything I need it to do and then some. Not sorry I got this and the delivery was quick.

It is very easy to install, and right away I can use the Internet service. Though the product is refurbished, it looks like new. The picture is sharp and beautiful and I'm very happy with it.

I bought this for my husband who is going back to school. One of the main reasons I liked it so much was the battery time which said 5.5 hours...well that wasn't true. I contacted Overstock.com and they said I could either return the computer or they would make an adjustment to my bill. I was disappointed by the real battery time (2 - 4 hours) but this is such a great computer and such a great deal that I opted for the bill adjustment. I would recommend this computer to anyone and will continue to shop at Overstock.com looking for great deals.....

I purchased this laptop after much debate. I wanted the best one I could find not only in price but performance. This computer out does the desk tops and the accessories that i have to do several outher functions. I love the quality and the speed not to mention the built in pro wireles system. This laptop is an all in one piece. Best laptop on the market by my standards

This is a very nice, high end laptop- refurbished but you'd never know, a great deal for half retail. Looks sharp too and easy to use with all the features you'd want. Battery was defective but Sony sent a new one, no charge within just a few days. Very pleased with them making it right and also bought the 2 year extended warrenty plan. Having fun using my new laptop and at such a great bargain.

The package was delivered on Christmas eve - as promised - really nice computer-looks 100% brand new. Fantastic deal for the money; nice features; easy start-up. Great gift for teenagers. Downside: No Owners manual or comprehensive guide. Easy start up instructions only.

This is a great medium to high end machine. I was very pleased with the features and its upgrade capabilities. I was on the internet after turning it on and logging into our server. I find the option of purchasing a refurbished computer from Overstock a safe way to get quality and save money. I would recommend this option to others.

This laptop is incredible, it's fast and easy to you, tons of memory and cool features. I have no complaints except for the fact that it's taking some getting used to windows vista. Best bang for you buck.
