Did most of my homework prior to making the purchase. Although I am a gamer, I opted for the VAIO anyway and cannot be more pleased. I still use the home puter for gaming and am amazed at the quality and style of the VAIO. Very easy to use and transport. The ease of use with the Overstock website was great and it arrived just as indicated and in very good shape. This was my first purchase from Overstock and surely will not be my last. I am very pleased with the overall experience with Overstock.com

This is my third laptop for personal use, previously had IBM Thinkpad and Dell Latitude, all refurbs. The Thinkpad was very old, very limited memory, no built-in wireless. Latitude was upgrade, many times the memory, but the wireless suddenly stopped working. Rather than buying a new external USB wireless connection I opted for the Vaio and am very happy with it. The Xbrite screen is great to clean, large, and any minor problems I've had (like the wireless light/switch going out) had simple solutions easily found on the net. I don't game, I mainly watch TV/movies, surf and use it to digitize embroidery designs. My only complaint is that the system I use to download designs for stitch-out is not compatible with Windows Vista. (I solved the problem by putting the designs on a CD and downloading onto my equipment from a non-Vista computer.) I am so fond of this laptop, I would hesitate to buy another brand.

Looked on Overstock because we thought that we could get a better deal then anywhere else. The product arrived very quickly and very easy to get all set up. I have had no problem with the fact that it was refirbished it came clean and had no scratches whatsoever. During the holidays certain chain stores had laptops for much cheaper but I still am happy with this one. My main issue is that the battery life seems to be VERY ( an hour or so before it needs plugged in ) short but since this is my first laptop maybe thats normal??? It doesnt bother me too much since its for home use only. Also I only use it for internet, e-mail, and the like no gameing or anything in depth.

I don't play games. I use my laptop for work . This is a great product. Keyboard is above average size. Keeps a charge well., and has a great viewing screen for movies too. It was easy to set up and I like it so much...I am purchasing another.

I love it so far. I worried about setting it up by myself but found out it was not a problem. So far it seems to be really a great purchase.

If your looking for a video playing music machine than this computer is fine. But other than that its pretty bad you cant play any games on it except for DX Ball and many other not so good online games I did however get Halo to work on it and WOW but WOW didn't work to well. If you get a vaio laptop you need to spend at least a thousand. FYI I've had this product for about a year now wouldn't ever recommend it.
