How often do you shop at Overstock.com? First time
I was looking for some way to have music in the kitchen without taking up any of the limited counter space that I have. Not only was this radio easy to install but the magnetic remote control works from almost any angle, even from the side. The mega bass feature works well, and it looks great. It was a little bigger then expected but it installs in a very underused area of the kitchen that it is hardly even noticeable.
I love it! It is in my dining room and my remote is on the fridge(I love that it has a magnet on it) and I can change the volume or station and mute it if the phone rings while I am in the kitchen cooking. It has a great sound and picks up lots of stations. It was a great value.
How often do you shop at Overstock.com? Few times a year
Bought this radio for my wife's sewing / computer room and she absolutely loves it. The sound quality is good, what I would expect from this unit, it is not a home stereo. The other features are welcome, my wife particularly likes the TV reception as it allows her to listen to the news while she is sewing or surfing the web for sewing items. Also here in Idaho having the weather band is a nice option during the winter months. The DVD player on this one works so far, we returned the same radio for a DVD skip that would not go away. Overstock handled the return very well (Platinum policy) and we purchased another of the same radio, my wife really enjoyed it.
My wife liked the radio so much I was VERY tempted to purchase it new from a different on line store but since Overstock was so friendly regarding the return and crediting back to my credit card we decided to save the money and go with Overstock again. The only thing I could say that I was not so happy with is when I purchased the second radio the Platinum service plan was not an option.
I would not hesitate to reccommend this radio or Overstock to a friend or family member.
