buy your own headphones
for the money, this is a superior deal from sony. the player has many features and sleek design. i am a professional DJ and can mix an entire show from two of these. the only problem is the headphone cord is only 1 foot long. unless you plan on carrying it in a shirt pocket or wearing it as a necklace it is useless. i ended up buying an extension so i can keep it in my pants pocket. other than the headphone design flaw, it is well worth your money

I am very happy with my purchase of the Sony Walkman. Even though it¿s refurbished, I can¿t tell. Everything works just fine. The music playback sounds great and the video playback is sharp. The only blemish is the earphone cord is way too short. Had to buy a new pair. Otherwise very satisfied with my purchase!
