it says that this charger is compatible w/ the battery I bought. but it isnt.. I dnt believe this product shoudl be listed as compatible if its not. I also attempted to ship it back but the shipping email wont open. Its all around just a big pain in the butt..

I bought this to keep in my car to charge the battery from my Sony HDR-XR500V on trips. The price is great. The unit is all plastic and lightweight. The car adapter plug is a good one, with 2 contact springs to hold it in place. The a/c plug and unit both have lights. There were no instructions. My battery fit fine the first time. Seems just fine for the price.

This item is excellent. I would recommend this item to anyone who needs this charger for their camcorder. You cannot beat the price or the quality.

the batteries NPF-FH70 do not fit flush onto this charger. You must make suer that it is making contact and charging the battery.

I thought the charger seemed a little cheap. Not what I expected. If I had seen it before purchasing it, I probably would not have bought it. It does work for now.
