This space for the battery in this so-called compatible unit is too BIG for real Sony batteries of this type. When I tried to charge my Sony battery, it fell out, and even when adjusted, didn't fit the contacts correctly. I tried to adjust it a bit by hand, but it wouldn't stay. What I did do that worked with my Sony battery to charge it is I put in a safety pin to push the battery down to the contacts and keep it there. This unit fits the copy-cat batteries, which are bigger than the real ones fine. If you buy the charger, buy the copycat battery they have at the same time. Both batteries work in my DSC 150 camera. The copy cat batteries I received have blue writing on them, not orange as pictured.

This was a joke of a charger, it barely worked once. I didn't even want to bother with the trouble of returning it, I just threw it away.

I ordered this charger for my Sony Cybershot, which was on the list that it would work for. It DOES NOT work at all. The charging pins are in fact on the wrong side of the connectors on the cybershot battery. I thought I'd take a chance, because of the low price, and see if it would work -- save your money. The refund policy is more of a hassle and unfortuately a charger that I will just throw away.

this product worked great. i couldn't find a battery charger for my camera that was reasonably priced. This shipped quickly and is actually better than the charger that originally accompanied the camera

This battery charger worked twice and then stopped working. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This charger was inexpensive and is easy to use. However, the picture indicated it had a car charger and I was disappointed when a car charger didn't come in the package.

Other than it not coming with an instruction manuel the product works well. I haven't had any troubles with it so far.

Do not buy this product! Many of the reviews also said this, but I thought I would chance it. Don't chance it! It is poor quality. I used it once and now it doesn't work! Frustrating! I guess you get what you pay for.

I bought this with 2 new NP-BG1 batteries, which were very inexpesive - I might add. I wanted another charger to go with the one I already had because I wanted to be able to charge 2 batteries to have ready for my trip overseas next year. Long story short - I didn't think it would work at first because the connections didn't seem to match up. My son suggested I put the battery in the charger upside down to see if that worked. I didn't think it worked that way but it did. Too bad it didn't come with directions to tell you to do that to make it work.

I was extremely disappointed. Went to go use it and it didn't work. I would recommend spending the extra money and get the Sony brand and not an unknown brand.

Not sure just why other reviewers are having trouble....battery charger works just fine. Only thing I'd like to have had is plug prongs that swing shut.

It worked for about 3 months, charged my batter just fine and then it just stopped working. I don't know what happened, but my battery didn't fit one day and it wouldn't charge. This is a waste of money get the more expensive one.

This charger does the job and it cost about 50% less at overstock than at retail stores. It is a bit bigger than my original charger which makes it kind of incovenient to travel with but for the money I saved it was worth it!

Bought this charger because I lost my original Sony charger. It was cheap and I really didn't need anything fancy. Long story short, I received it and it doesn't work with my NP-BG1 battery. If I return it, I will have to pay shipping back to the store and will still loose my money.What I'm trying to say, save yourselves the trouble (and money) and don't buy this product....

Although it is slightly bulky, it is still a marvelous product for the price. It does exactly what I want it to, charge my camera. It doesn't have any nifty features, but i don't need it to.

I hope, for their sake, this was just a fluke, but I just ordered this and it came to me and DID NOT WORK. That is horrible. I just went ahead and ordered a different charger at this point. Like I said, I hope its a fluke. This charger may just work fine and I got the bad one in the bunch. Oh well.
