I tested this product with my vacuum cleaner and like it advertized, it reduced the lower pitch sounds. It would be nice if it could also reduce the higher pitch sounds as well but alas, you get what you pay for.This is a good product for the price and does what I need it to.Pros: Comfortable, slight noise cancelling, easy to useCons: Needs more noise cancelling, bulky

These headphones are perfect for games, downloading music.....My husband is a musician, and often is downloading music for review.....These are perfect for those computer tasks....I wouldn't recommned them for someone who is looking for superior sound qulaity, but for the money these are a great buy. Perfect for playing games, and for listening to news clips..... overall very happy with them!

I bought these earphones for noise cancelling qualities. I have yet to find much difference in any environment. Ear pieces are comfortable and do most of the blocking. The active electronic blocking is minimal. You could achieve the same effect by purchasing regular cup style earphones.

My friend has some "noise canceling" head phones but without the "boost" button that these have. We tested them out on our last flight and mine definitely cut out much more of the noise. I could just turn on the boost button and no music or anything and it gave a great white noise that really helped quiet that airplane drone sound. They were definitely a good buy.

I use my headphone almost daily either while in flight or just at home while on my PC. Its great at drowning out the television in the background. Great product for the money.

I bought these headphones to use on flights with my Ipod. The noise cancelling feature is great! It takes you right out of the noisy world and into your own peaceful setting. I also use them at home and while I am no expert, I have to say the sound quality is wonderful. I'd highly recommend these headphones. Also, the switch that turns on the noise cancelling is not in a place where it may turn on by accident, wearing down the battery needlessly.

great product--love it. The price was unbeatable-carrying case is handy--exactly as described. Very comfortable to wear -sturdy -well made. Any time you can buy a Sony product like this--well worth the money.

I ordered two pairs and they arrived in excellent condition. They are Christmas gifts but I did take them out and tried both of them with one of my music CD's. The audio tone quality was excellent on both of them. I was a little concerned about them being "Refurb" but I feel, after receiving them and hearing the tone quality that it was a good selection. I am very happy with my purchase and would do it again.

i am no judge of headphone quality but these seem to have good sound quality. much better than the cheap junk i am used to. but i have to say iam glad i didnt pay $100 plus for them.

I used the product on a flight to Europe. The headphones were easy to use and helped reduce the noise by approximately 50%. The headphones were clean and had no blemishes. You can't beat the price!
