I've had this phone for over two years, and I love it. It's very easy to use, has great sound quality, great reception (I live in the mountains and it works!), has bluetooth, and is a sturdy as all get out. It's been dropped, flipped open with my teeth, and sat on when open...and it still keeps on going! I like the little bar across the top, and have put velcro through it and then attached it to my belt loop or purse. It's also not bulky, which is great. It takes pretty good pictures and video as well. I'm having a difficult time finding a replacement from simple ware, and I keep going back to this "tried and true" one. The flip phones don't have the issue of the keys getting pressed or the screen breaking in your purse or pocket. If you're looking for a reliable phone, that will stand the test of time. This is your phone.
easy to use, easily navigated thru the menu options, can record own ringtone; this is my third version of this phone
This is a great phone, does all that I need to do. I have had this phone for all most 5 years and I droped it more time than it could take so it finally died,I was very up-set then found it on overstock bought it love it very happy......now want a 2nd one for hubby and they are sold out should of gotten two to start with .hope they get more.................
Bought this phone about 4 months ago when my old phone died at the hands of my toddler. It is easy to use, simple, and has pretty good audio quality compared to other phones I've owned. I do not use the internet with my cell phones, so I cannot speak to any features related to that. I found only about 2-3 ringtones that it comes with agreeable. It has an awfully loud alert when the battery is dying that cannot be changed or muted. The calculator (which I use somewhat often for quick math) is very user-UNfriendly. But, the worst by far is the push-to-talk (PTT) button on the side of the phone. It is big and completely unavoidable. EVERY time I open the phone to use it, I have some prompt asking me if I really wanted to push that stupid button. Very annoying. All in all, it works fine, battery life is good so far, and I got what I paid for.
I bought the Sony Ericsson Z520a as a gift for my nephew and it was one of good choice, cause it was easy for him to use and the reception was very good. He had no problems making and receiving calls and took great pictures with the camera phone!
Great phone, easy to use, great value for the price.
I purchased this phone for myself. It's a versitile phone. You can buy different faceplates to change your phones appearance. You can change it accrording to your outfit. Thats a plus. Also the phone lights up when you recieve an incoming call or a message. Thats also great if you do not hear it. I would recommend this phone.
The book that came with the phone gave you no photo of the phone so you have to feel your way through what the buttons are used for which made it more diffcult to use for a senior user. No regular buttons for send, on or off. We are still trying to find certain features. Would not buy as a gift or this phone brand name.
I just bought this phone in Feb. 2008 I was initially was very please with the phone until the phone started cutting off during my conversation. Which was manageable until couple of weeks ago. A week after the 60 days warranty when the screen went blank. Please do not buy this phone if you can help it.
