Overstock gets things to you faster than anyone...hooray for that. The first time I used it the disk tray wouldn't open all the way. I discovered that a corner of the plastic disk drawer was broken. I pulled off the piece and it has worked fine since without its little corner. Not premium, but functional which is what I want anyway. Good enough.

I've had this for a while, but have used it only once so can not give an indept review, but it looks good and played the one DVD fine.

So far...all is great...the picture is very clear and so is audio. I would recommend this even tho it has been a month with me

received quickly and in great shape-player is easy to operate and its size takes up little space- wouldn't think the player is refurbished-have had mine for a month with no problems-would highly recommend

I was looking for this particular make and model since I had bought one from Overstock last year. It is an outstanding progressive scan single DVD player and has hdmi connectors. As a rebuilt model, once can not tell the difference on either of mine. It is an outsanding value from Overstock and Sony. I don't understand why someone would want a carousel model. I mean, how many movies does one watch in a row. Another great buy. Now I have one in the main room and one in the family room. I wouldn't settle for less. (Can't figure out how I got the name "Taken".). I definitely wasn't!!!

Product works great. Only problem is that it arrived with the casing broken in several places although there was no obvious damage to the shipping box. We decided to keep it since it is used infrequently on a secondary television and its functions fine.

The scanner worked great out of the box. Even refurbished, there was no apparent difference in operation. My preteen children snatched the remote, and easily found their way. I hope they tell me the password :)

We got this DVD player for a room in the house that we wanted both movies and music. I have to admit that we haven't used all of the features on the machine, but have been very happy with it's ability to play movies and and CD's. The sound quality is great for the movies, but not quite as good for the music. I may still need to change a setting or something, but overall, we have been really excited about it. I think it's the fact that it is hooked up to an old tv. It took about two seconds to hook up. I would buy this again.

TheSony DVP-NS75H was a Christmas gift for a lady in her mid-eighties who has managed to stay away from technology. Upon opening the package she loved the attractive design and right away started using it. It is that user friendly. The Sony Progressive Scan DVD Player has changed her life now that she has discovered the vast choice of commercial-less movies she can watch. It's beautiful, awesome all but the box it came in, but, who cares that just gets thrown out anyway!

Great product. Excellent picture quality. You do however, have to purchase a few extra wires not included with the product. But this otherwise a very good deal.

No problem at all. excellent working. don't miss it and enjoy. Now i'm just waiting end of battle - HDDVD vs Blue ray.
