I purchase this camera as a gift for my daughters 16th birthday. It has great features musical slideshow settint to watch all your shots, make a excellent gift for anyone who enjoy taking good pictures for memories.

I just brought this camera because I was going on vacation and didn't have the time to research all the cameras. This one works pretty well. The only frustrating thing is that the button the change the camera functions is easily changed. So I could take a picture, put the camera in my pocket and take it out to take another picture, only to find I am shooting video. That was the most frustrating part to me. The cable that you use to transfer pictures is not a standard usb cable either so I guess if I lose this one I will have to pay a good deal of money for a new one. I purchased a refurbished camera and it works great, looks brand new and I would recommend purchashing refurbished from overstock since you can return the camera if you get it and find something wrong with it.

This purchase was a good buy for all the right reasons. The battery seems to not charge long enough though.

Takes great pictures. The automated setting make it easy, but it has manual setting if you want to set it up yourself. I really like the face recognition feature. You can hold it out and take pictures with your friends and get a decent picture. It took me awhile to get the hang of the menus. It also uses a "special" memory stick that is more expensive than the standard ones.

I love the camera, but to my surprise, opening up the box, I got a WHITE one not a SILVER camera. I don't mind at all, kind of liking the white now that I got it. But if I had gotten the PINK I'd be annoyed. Overall the camera works well. Everything came complete. It's exactly what I was looking for. A simple point and shoot digital for simple photographs with friends around town.

I purchased this camera right before taking a cruise. I was pleased with its size, features, and the image quality of the pictures. I was a bit leary about purchasing a "refurbished" product, but, as described on the website, my camera came in a factory box with all the paperwork. It did not appear to be "used". The difference in price (much lower) on the refurbished model and the "new" model was what sold me on this camera. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

In terms of features, image quality, user friendlyness this one ranks at the top. It's incredibly small and also sports one of the fastest shutters, so you don't miss those special moments due to excessive lag times. But the persistant red-eye effect is a minor issue and the software supplied is sub-standard. The uploading and picture sorting/browsing utility is a joke compared to Canon's or Olympus' offerings. Lets face it, there's no perfect camera out there... yet.

this is a great camara its easy to work and to transfer pictures on to the computer, and the picture quality it great also I would definitely recommend to friends or family!

I gave up my old camera because the images were sometimes blurry, low light pictures stunk, and the focus took too long, and sometimes my kids would be out of shot by the time the picture took. This camera is great. Fast pictures, great low light shots, and even good battery life while taking movies. If you need a great camera, this is it.

I am so glad I purchased this camera! It's so easy to use, a good size and has great quality images. It's also pretty sturdy and has the right amount of features. This camera was such a good deal that we bought one for our mom for Mother's Day. She loves it too!

Very good price for a great camera. Just make sure you get a Sony memory card. The other brand of memory cards don't fit.
