    This is great camera, and worth the price. But don't take my word for it, look at the reviews and since a newer model has come out, the price has fallen and is really a GREAT buy. Now about Overstock.com. They are suspect about what they sell and don't give honest descriptions. I think my camera was an open box or a return or used. I questioned Overstock and did not get a convincing answer. If something is NOT brand new, it should be in the description. They gave me an additional discount,, so I purchased a Sony extended warranty from Sony, just to be safe.
