After reading disappointing discussions of other PCIe eSATA cards for Mac, I bought this one. I had to install a driver available from SonnetTech. Sonnet says this card is not recommended for high performance RAID setups. I did lose my 2 drive RAID 0 backup once while erasing many large files over several days, but as it was just a backup, I didn't mind.
