For the money, these are by far the best sounding in-ear headphones out there. I've tested many expensive models from very reputable companies and I was always bothered by something: either not enough bass or too mid-rangey or too much high-end etc. These SkullCandy earpieces sound GREAT. A beautiful warm sound that's very pleasing to the ears.PLUS they are light and VERY comfortable. PLUS they are excellent at blocking outside noise. Although they don't market them as "Noise Cancelling", they certainly do a very good job of that.I listen to many different styles of music; from funk to hip-hop to folk to reggae to classical. ALL the music I listen to sounds GREAT!!!! Excellent BASS RESPONSE, too! The high-end is just perfect.My recommendation would be to buy the BLACK ones. For some odd reason, they tend to sound better than the other ones. Maybe that's a weird coincidence, I don't know. But that's been my experience thus far.GOOD LUCK!!!

My spouse, kids, and I have been using these earbuds for years. Even though we've tried numerous other brands of earbuds in this price-range, we keep coming back to these. The combination of excellent sound quality, comfort, good looks, and durability make these hard to beat for the price. The soft silicon earpieces are shaped just right for comfort. There are also several different sizes included that provide the perfect fit and comfort for each family member. The kids love these as replacements for the inferior earbuds that come with their mp3 players. These are the only earbuds my wife will buy and use now, and they are certainly my preference in this price range, as well.

I lost my expensive Sony earbuds and couldn't afford to replace them, so I chose these based on the reviews. They're pretty comfortable, the cord is a good length, and the sound is great for the price. I purchased these to use with my laptop in my school's library. They keep out the noises of everyone coughing and sniffling. I like to listen to classical music when I study, and the sound is very comparable to my expensive stereo system, and actually better than my desktop speakers on my home computer. My ONLY complaint is that when you put the earbuds in, you can actually hear a loud clicking sound in your ears while you wait for the silicone to warm up and settle in. You might hear the same noise if you accidentally tug on the cord. Since I only use these while I'm sitting down and not overly active, I don't mind too much, but this might bother you if you want to use these earbuds while working out or moving around a lot. I also wish they would have marked a L and R on the earbuds, but I didn't take a star away for that; I solved that minor oversight with a Sharpie. Overstock did a great job shipping these very quickly, and the item arrived well-protected and undamaged. I bought these during the $1 shipping special, and they were very fairly priced, so I give Overstock 5 stars.

The Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds provide phenomenal value. I bought them to use with my iPod, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. I've previously owned comparable Sony brand headphones, and the sound is just as clear and a little fuller with these.They also seem to be much more durable. The rubber earbud part has yet to come unattached, though they've been yanked out of my ears while running and doing other various activities a few times, and that was something I always had a problem with when I bought Sony's, especially since they don't offer replacement rubber buds, and the available knockoffs on the market are of less-than-desired quality.I also appreciate the cord's length. It's long enough to wrap comfortably over (or under) my shirt and into my back pant's pocket while walking around campus or doing other activities. Overall, I would definitely recommend these headphones.

My 1st pair of Ink'd Earbuds by Skullycandy were given to me by someone who loves them. I loved them so much that I bought a three pack and gave them all away. After several years of use and abuse, my remaining pair broke but I"m cheap so I super glued it back together and they still work fine. I purchased this as a back-up pair...just in case. I get ZERO background noise even when the music is NOT full blast.

I love these ear buds! They are small enough to actually fit in my ears and stay put even while walking and jogging. They also come with 2 other sizes of cushions so they can be custom fit. Great sound quality.

The plug on these doesn't quite fit into the headphone jack on my music player, while other sets fit perfectly. But as long as i get the plug situated in the right spot, they have clear sound

These ear buds were exactly the gift I wanted for my daughter in law. They work great and were perfectly priced. Best thing-- delivered to my door at Christmas time!!

I purchased these to replace a broken not so great pair that I had. The sound quality is excellent and they fit in my small ears. It has always been a challenge to find ear buds that fit in my ears. I would compare them to the "Gaga Beats" that we also have. Overall they are great quality for the price!
