I already had a set of Skullcandy earbuds but needed another. Went for the slightly higher end with the Full Metal Jacket. They arrived early in great shape. Audio quality was very good but have seen them a bit cheaper at other sites. Overall, a very good product.
The SkullCandy Full Metal Jacket Earbuds were purchased as a gift. The gift recipient loves them and states the sound quality is unmatched by other earbuds she has used in the past. She also enjoys its compact size for ease of use and storage.Overstock offered them at an exceptional price. A great value and the perfect gift, especially for military personnel serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. My only complaint with this purchase was the packaging. It was slightly damaged, which in this case was acceptable, but not preferred because it was given as a gift. I would recommend this product and Overstock.com to my friends and family members.
My son asked for these headphones for Christmas. I looked everywhere and they were anywhere from $60 to $70. It was beyond me why anyone would pay THAT much for head phones. I found them here on overstock at a comfortable price for me. When I got them I wanted to test them to make sure they were working properly. I was amazed. These are a slice of listening heaven. Extraordinarily comfortable, excellent clarity, and a sleek sturdy design. Ok being a mom, a very young mom, but still a mom, I did not understand why you would pay more than $10 for a pair of ear phones. Now I know. Holy cow these are truly awesome. I will let you know about durability later, but they look very promising! :)
Can't beat the sound quality for the price once you get used to this style of headphone. It takes a little adjustment to get used to the "ear bud" as opposed to a conventional headphone. Very comfortable once you adjust. They come with a small storage container the houses the extra ear pieces. Skullcandy must have sprinkled some fairy dust on the cord because they never seem to get tangled like other headphones i've used. Great bang for buck compared to the going price for a headphone of this quality.
SInce I am always In the never ending quest for a great pair of ear buds for under $50.00, these may be the answer. I have tried at least a dozen brands and styles over the past 5 years these may be the best yet. They are small, fit perfectly at least in my ear canals and sound great. I do not need to constantly readjust them to either keep them in my ears or to hear the optimum sound.
