The suction cup does not adhere to surfaces very well, especially the added weight of a cell phone or iPod.

Is alright, but did not work out as planned
I would not recommend this unless you are going to use the screws to mount it. My first try with the suction mount on the interior windshield worked until I attempted to remove my iPhone, then it fell off. After that I could not get it to adhear again. It holds the phone nicely and I like the overall design of the product.

Don't waste your money
Nothing in the box to tell you how to actually mount it. And no "mounting paste" included as mentioned on the box.

Solid
This is a very short mount so larger vehicles like trucks or SUVs will have a hard time using it. It's very solid but it's easy to remove phone or gps from actual unit. It would be good to travel with though if say you use a rental car. I would not use this item with my phone everyday. It is just too tough to open the arms. But I would use it for my GPS and unstuck the suction cup when not it use.
