Overstock.com advertises these servers as fully refurbished. The products received were clearly not refurbished. 5 servers only produce beep error codes indicating major component failures. In addition to the problems related to the mother boards, 1 Server has a bad power supply. 1 Server has a bad CD drive. 1 Server has a bad disk drive and 1 server has defective fans. The company supplying the servers was very helpful in trying to provide our engineers with parts, but the servers could not be repaired on site and need to be returned to Overstock. Overstock.com support was very pleasant, but have not provided replacements and have not been able to provide any information on when the defective products will be replaced.
The top panel can bend easy. Fan included is loud. Lots of removing for installating drives. It was tight for my 880GA-UDH3 board from gigabyte. For the the price its pretty good. Added another fan, so far it stays pretty cool inside. Fits on my SKB case screw holes very well. Not too heavy I don't think. If you take good care of this and less abuse it will work fine. I also have 8 raid drives running on this sucker (external hot swap enclosure).
The server arrived in excellent physical condition. Tested all functions and it passed with flying colors. Terrific price for an excellent product.
I wanted to have a couple servers to have as backup hardware. They are so good, that I have one in production now. I would recommend this to any IT Admin.
Saved my butt from having to go elsewhere, will definitely come back. Service was quick, reliable and everything I asked for in my server.
