The product is very helpful in finding words -- either from the Spanish or English side -- when you are conversing and can't think of the right word. Sometimes, it brings up the wrong word entirely. I only know this because I know Spanish fairly well. This would be confusing to a person who does not know some Spanish already. Sometimes it does not have the word you want. But all in all, it is very helpful in conversation. Further, it has vocabulary builder exercises that would be useful for students. I find it helpful, but it has some limitations. I'm glad I bought it.

The vocabulary is limited and European - not too helpful for the U.S. However, the English Language quizez are kind of fun and might encourage a high school student to study for the SAT.

I purchased this product which seemed fine at the beginning, however after about 2 weeks half the lines on the screen went out which made it almost impossible to see the word...not a good thing when trying to read words in a foreign language.

I gave this product as a gift and was told that it was difficult to understand how to work with it.

I would recommend this translator to every latin English language student, it's going to be very helpfull to you.
