Secustar Electronic Digital Fireproof Safe

I was nervous about this safe because of the reviews that indicated it arrived broken. Ours was fine. It is so easy to open and close and I think it is a great value for the money. I shopped around and this was a great deal - especially with the low shipping cost.

This is a great safe and a great value excepting the delivery of it. The plasic front came in broken, damaged, wires unsoldered where they had broken away and cormers of the heavy safe dented. Not packed well at all unfortunately. If you can overlook the blemishes, get out your crazy glue, have someone re-solder wires then you have a great safe and worth the $$ especially if you price these elsewhere. It's extremely heavy, nice and roomy, and works great after all of this, plus you're likely to want this hidden anyway so no one but you will see the cracks and your glue handiwork and the crushed cormers, right? I kept it instead of returning because after all the repairs, glued fingers, and hassle, it really does perform well and it's such an inconvenience to try to return. It is indeed worth your purchase despite all of the woes.

The first safe was delivered damaged in shipment. Overstock Dotcom was extremely efficient in resolving the matter and a replacement was shipped immediately. While the safe is heavy & appears to be adequate, the face-plate is made of lightweight plastic which shattered on the first delivery and easily broke on the second (during installation). My installer already bolted to the wall before I noticed & it does work, so I just left well enough alone.

This safe is just what we were looking for. It is a very good quality and will suit our needs nicely. The safe is made well and easy to operate.
