When my Windows based laptop - which I only kept around because my Scan Snap only worked with Windows - when the laptop died, I found this little gem which works with both Windows and MacOS. I LOVE the Scan Snaps but they are pricey, This does the job, takes up very little space and is at a price that made purchasing another scanner a pleasant surprise. You don't need the more expensive ScanSnap when you have this one. Great deal.

I have owned many scanners, this one has great features. Installation was a breeze. One disk that ran great on both of my computers and the software was installed. Only one cable from the computer to the scanner ( no power cord). Then I was up. I have already scanned over 300 photos and have had no problems. The scanner is small, easily stored, and quiet. I would buy another.

Not all that pleased with this one, the cost of the device comes with the expectation that you get something without major downsides. I can list some glaring ones. For starters, I have to restart my PC to get the software to recognize the scanner after being idle. This is incredibly inconvenient and a terrible failure on Fujitsu's part. This is with all the troubleshooting they recommend, which boils down to trying different USB ports, and reinstalling the software. A lot of the time documents get misaligned (Receipts in particular) and do not feed correctly, entering the scanner straight and falling into an angle. While the scanner software does correct and straighten documents scanned crooked, it only detects documents coming through the center of the feed tray and stops a scan prematurely if the receipt has fallen out of that sensors view. Keeping the document or receipt straight in the feed tray is very difficult, even with the guides. When feeding a document 14 inches or longer, the scanner quits scanning at the 14 inch mark and feeds the rest of the paper. The best fix I can come up with is tearing the original document to make two pages for one, and this makes the resulting PDF very confusing when the document contains print on both sides. Overall though, it is a huge improvement over your basic all-in-one printer. The thing that bugs me is that I paid this extraordinary price for a device that requires a lot of coddling. Will not purchase a Fujitsu next time!

This is essentially a plug and play device as hook up to my PC was pretty simple. And scanning/copying is pretty much a one button push.

Love this scanner, convenient to install, easy to use. I scanned all my business cards in less than one hours. It is very accurate, and I only need to correct some times. Overall, it

It is a very good product for a small office situation. It combines desktop utility with portability. usable on PC and MAC. Just make sure they send both cd's for loading software. It allows you to choose where to store the items. However, the feed capacity is rather limited. The pc paper port is the same as I have at work so it was relatively easy to figure out. As is usual, it is easier on the MAC than the PC.

My son, who is a computer programmer, suggested ordering this scanner. I am very pleased with it! Easy to use!

Had to return the item, no mention in the description of PC or MAC compatibility. It is NOT compatable with Apple/Mac/IOS.
Your new scanner can help you digitize your photo album, scan documents to send by e-mail and make copies for printing. Scanners and printers are essential office electronics for home or business. Knowing the answers to a few of these frequently asked questions will help you identify the right scanner for whatever imaging projects you have in mind.
