The VisionMount VMPL3 is the most versatile mount on the market. This dual-purpose tilting and low-profile wall mount fits TVs from 27" - 84" and up to 280 lbs. Virtual Axis™ allows the TV to tilt up or down with the push of a finger, helping you reduce glare from lights or windows and find the perfect viewing angle. The VMPL3 features an adjustable design that expands and retracts to offer a custom fit for most TVs. Lateral shift allows the TV to move left and right on the wall plate so it's placed exactly where you want it. TV is positioned just 2.5" from the wall with tilting brackets or 1.25" from the wall with low-profile brackets for a clean, flush appearance. Solid heavy-gauge steel construction offers a sleek, high-tech look while providing strength and durability. Universal mounting brackets.

Perfect
Great unit. Works perfectly--replaced an articulating mount that could not support the weight of my 70" TV. Feels solid, and the pivoting action is perfect. Very easy installation. The only downside (if you can call it that) is that there is not a lot of room to work with once mounted... so cable up if you can before mounting.

great value, very sturdy
I looked a different places for this particular mount and it was $120 cheaper here then at other box stores. This mount is sturdy and exactly as described. The box was torn and crushed, but the mount is so heavy and sturdy, there wasn't even a scratch on it. The mount comes with many different hardware options to attach to the wall, and when searching the Sanus website this is the one for my Samsung, but the screws that were supposed to attach the TV to the mount brackets were too small. We ended up using the spacers for round back TV's and the longer screws because the screws for the flat back TV's were too short. It is meant to mount with the spacer,s and the screws screwed in the TV at least a half inch. I feel confident that it is sturdy and supported on the wall. I had my uncle install because he is a carpenter. It is great, we can slide the TV about 6inches in either direction and it tilts with little effort. I am very happy with this product! I will be going with another Sanus mount for my next TV as well. Would have gotten 5 stars if the hardware was the right size.

Well built
Easily adapted to Television. More than sufficient hardware for mounting to wall. Prefer Sanus TV mounts to most others. Never disappointed with their products Very well built.

Excellent piece
Have a 65" LCD that I wanted to hang on the wall and could not find any mounts at the traditional stores. Found this one and even though looked low quality on the website decided to give it a try. Wow, what a lifesaver. Heavy duty design and so incredibly easy to install once I actually read the directions. With the TV on the wall and no longer on a stand, my family room really opened up. Was very pleased with this product. Been using it for 3 years and no problems.

Very sturdy wall mount - caution though
This is a very sturdy wall mount. I used the 3 stud method for a 52" Samsung LCD. I do caution that when using the 3rd stud, you shorten the amount the TV can move side to side. The further apart you extend the arms the less movement you will have.
