I live in Manhattan surrounded by tall buildings -- thus I needed a radio with an antenna. It gets good reception. My only complaint was it was slightly difficult to program

Very impressive
Very impressive easy to use radio. Excellent reception. Excellent sound. Hard on batteries though so you must use the rechargeable type. The radio has a built in recharger for these batteries.
