This died a bit after 6 months of use. The warrnty was only 90 days so it really is dead. Not worth the money.

I ordered 3 of these for my kids for Christmas and I couldn't be happier! We purchased a 2gb Sansa last Christmas for my oldest daughter. She loved it. So this year we decided to get her a larger one & for the deal they were running at the time we got all 3 kids one. They love them. They are ages 14, 11, & 9 so they are appropriate for any age really, and they are easy to use. The screen is bright and clear, the controls are great.

This was a gift for my son. He hasn't stopped using it since he got it. He is very happy with it. I would reccommend it for a purchase to anyone. It is easy to use and my son enjoys it.

My son's first MP3 was worth the wait to find this deal for X-Mas. He never goes anywhere without it now. His only complaint is occasional trouble charging.

Ipod who? This is a very nice MP3/Video player that does everything you would be looking for at a fraction of the cost of the fruit brand's product. Who needs fruit at that price! This was a very good deal.

I'm really enjoying my sansa. It seems to work very well. The users guide was easy to find on line, and it's user friendly. I only wish I could find a charger that I could plug in the wall. I'm sure I will in time.

I was quite pleased with the mp3 player. It works well and is easy to use. The disappointment was there were no instructions and thankfully my husband is good with electronics and was able to figure out what neede to be down loaded for it to be functional. After that it was easy to use. I know it was re furbished but the instruction booklet would have been nice.

I have been using my refurbished E280 for almost a month now and I have no major complaints. The sound quality and ease of use is outstanding. Also it appears to be the best bang for the buck out there. The only shortcoming I have noticed is the lack of an ability to fast forward through long videos.

cannot drag and drop mp3 files from itunes for some reason--face cracked too easily---this is my 4th mp3 over the years and I don't like it.

Did not take my SD card. cant put videos on there. navigations on the skinny buttons are aggravating. only good for just listening to music.

Great product, really good value for the money, super easy to use (I am not a technology person, so that says a lot). Shipped in a timely manner. No complaints whatsoever, use everyday.

I'm not sure how Overstock.com classifies their products, but the title for this unit says "Sandisk SDMX4-8192 Sansa 8GB MP3 Player (Refurbished)". It doesn't let you know that it's a Sansa E280 model. As I write this review, there are two other MP3 listings that specifically say they are the Sansa E280 model, but the pricing is higher, despite both of those listings also indicating they are refurbished units as well.I was leary about purchasing a refurbished unit, but the price is over half off the retail price of a brand new unit, and the description says it still has a 90-day warranty on it. So far I haven't been disappointed! This is a great value.The only complaint I have is that this unit didn't come with any documentation or the media converter CD that is necessary to upload photos and video to the player. The little box simply had the player, a new set of earbuds and a USB cable. The owner's manual can be found online at the SanDisk website. I'm not sure how to get the CD, though.I also had to clean off someone else's music, but that's easy enough to do.Overall, a really nice little player with alot of features all at a great price.

i like my sansa better then my old ipod it has radieo pics video and a mic its a lot better then an ipod i think.

I waited to get an mp3 player until my clock radio with CD began to give out. I wanted a unit that I could take anywhere and use in my bedroom, in place of the CD player. THIS IS IT! I had always been disappointed that the iPod did not have a built in radio. There is a device you can buy, but when walking around you really don't want anything extra. Also, when out and about, it is the radio that I rely upon more than my music connection -- for news, information and an eclectic music mix available on hundreds of stations.This unit is feather light, u can take it anywhere. You can put it into your pocket easily, and walk about with ease. The design is easy, right out of the box. You can even record radio music, which is awesome!The Sandisk Sansa e200 series styling is easy, features great, and the price is fanastic! You really get so much more for your money than with an iPod. You get more capacity (8GB flash + up to 2GB with the microSD slot), and the extra features make it a no-brainer: it even has a voice recorder, user customizable EQ, on-the-go playlisting), for the less.I bought mine refurbished, and have never been happier!
