I think this combination (the memory card and the card reader) is a really good combination. After I brought this product, I used it with my nikon coolpix p80. The 8 GB memory card works well with my camera. When I uploaded the photos to my computer (2005 XP) with the card reader, there was no issue and it was very fast. When I brought this memory card, I was wondering if it's compatible with my camera. But later I realized that if I cannot use the memory card with my camera, I could still use the memory card and the card reader as a 8 GB USB flash driver. Both the memory card and the card reader are very good. The card reader can even read my 4GB SDHC memory card.

This nice set of an SD memory card and reader are a great value. Generally you pay more for the card alone, and the tiny card reader is small enough to tuck into your camera bag, purse or suitcase -- perfect for travel! Although most people don't need an 8 gig card just for photos (it will hold thousands of them), if you like to take mini-videos with your camera you need the larger storage capacity. The larger capacity memory card also will let you take photos at the maximum quality without filling up quickly -- highest quality photos are a must if you plan to blow them up to a larger size when you print them. Sandisk is a great brand that I have used for years with never a failure of the card. The card reader is absolutely simple to use. I love Overstock for the many great values you can find here!

Typical solid sandisk 8 gig sd at a good price. The reader is a nice add on for my desktop that doesnt have an internal one.

Always works in my Kodak 10 Megapixel camera. Not too much more one can say about a memory card. Prices are always good at the O for this kind of merchandise.

Works with all of my computers running XP or 7. However, it will not survive a trip through the washing machine.

The memory card is ok, but, the card reader is poorly made, flimsy and does not work. I bought two cards and both card readers does not work.

This was a real deal. I needed the card reader, but I got the card reader and an 8 Gig card to go with it for less than the usual price of the card alone. The shipping was prompt and I've been using both the card and the reader to good advantage. The reader seems a little flimsy, so I'd advise treating it like royalty. The one thing I like least about the reader is th caps. They don't have any positive locking and after just a little use will most likely have a tendency to fall off and get lost. All in all a great product, with the only caveat being the caps.

The service was great The shipment of the part was also great and the product is just what I needed, becuase my laptop doesn,t have a card reader so I would have to use A CD to transfer my file. With this all I have to do is plug it into my USB port and I am done. What a great thing I would tell anyone to purchase one And as I said in the start I have always had good service. Thanks.

The product works as advertised and the card reader is convenient for those computers that don't have SD readers. The card itself is good quality and the reader is of sufficient quality despite the case being cheaply made.

The card works fine the reader does too except for one of the end caps. It does not stay on when the reader is stored.

fast delivery - works great - good price - how can it get better?

I ordered 3 SanDisk 8 GB and one of them did not work. I tried it in two different computers and three different SD slots. The USB card reader worked fine with the other two SanDisk's but for some reason one does not work. I will need to return for credit. I did like the idea of the card reader that could be used on any computer with ease. It was just disappointing that the one SD did not work.

The products arrived quickly and in good condition. Both are easy to use and are working great.I had a previous scan disk that had malfunctioned somehow. I wanted to recover the digital pictures that were on it. I was told that a card reader would do the trick and it did. i was able to save the photos.
