no matter how many attempts were made to successfully format this card at SD's site, the camera still claims that the card needs to be formatted. I would welcome suggestions. Camera is HP model 735.
This is a great combination. I recently had an unexpected trip which required a lot of pictures. The 4.0 GB Sandisk did the job and when I got home, the SDHC USB Card Reader did its job. I would highly reccommend this combination to anyone taking a lot of pictures.
Love it ... held a weeks worth of vacation pictures with room to spare ...
I bought this SD Card reader to download images directly from my digital camera. My needs were 2-folds; my recent upgrade to Vista left my SD card slot inoperable on my newer laptop and I wanted to avoid installing the camera manufacturer's software. Kodak Easyshare software can bog down your computer like a virus with its constant search for updates. I did find out that this card reader may not work with the older USB drives. I own a 2001 HP laptop that this card reader was incompatible with. However, it works great with my newer Toshiba Sattelite. Overall, this SD card reader serves its purpose at a great price. I would have bought the 8GB version, but it was sold out at the time.
