These have been refurbished, as they have had the wi-fi removed. That is their first misinformation, or lack thereof. The next is no manual. ONE HAS TO FIND IT ON THE INTERNET! The radio function does not work, so basically one has a unit that plays synced songs, and shows downloaded pictures and videos. My first unit came with the case and screen badly scratched. I went through the hassle of packing and sending the unit . I have decided to keep this unit, as I am tired of the hassle. Now I find they have reduced the price by $7.00, but I would have to give up any warranty claims in the future to get the difference refunded. If you can live with all the misinformation and such...go for it. Just find the manual online first, and realize it is refurbished.
Not a bad price for a decent player. Mine came with a minor scratch on the interior of the screen which detracts from the image but not enough to return the device.
I bought this a couple months ago for myself. When I received it I noted that it could be recharged using an outlet rather than the computer. Perfect!!! I immediately thought of my disabled brother who loves music and does not have a computer. I downloaded many Christian songs that he is fond of. While in town this past weekend he has been getting used to it...so the Sansa is going home with him to IA. He is delighted because he sees a lot of other men using these devices...now he can too!!!
This is an excellent unit. Easy to use, large screen (important to me as I'm waaay over 40), and expandable. I gave it 5 stars in every category except features. And that's only because it doesn't have an FM tuner. I use this in my automobiles and motorcycle to replace the XM radio. They play the same stuff over and over anyway. I put about 800 of my favorites on the device and I don't hear the same song for days. Less frequently than XM. After purchasing the first one, I bought a second at a friends request. He's just as happy.
