I wanted something simple and this was an excellent choice. It is small and I have on at work when I have to work late. No problem with downloading my music. I like it a lot.
I needed some low cost MP3 players to replace the radios used for our "On-Hold" music on our phone system... when plugged into a USB power plug (not a computer), this unit continues to play!
I have had this item for about 6 weeks. It no longer turns on. No matter what buttons I press or which USB I plug into. The sound quality was pretty good but it no longer works at all.
This has become the family standard for MP3 players. We have owned iPods, Zunes and several other players. But our interest in a player is strictly audio, so this unit fits the bill. It sounds as good as any of the others and is fairly easy to use. The small size is great for running and I like having a display (vs. no display in the nano). I have had a unit come in DOA, but it was quickly replaced and the new one runs with no problem.
