8 Gig is about 7.5after pre- installed sofware. Also has 2 gigs of cloud and is password protected. Good drive for storing important folders but hard to use as thumb drive only. Can be cumbersum for just transferring files. preinstallled software can't be removed.

It is a flash drive device, and it works for its intended purpose. I was taken aback immediately at just how small the device is ---not really a plus in my case as I plan to use it for portability, therefore it is easier to lose. I would not re-purchase this item. I went with another, sturdier brand for my next flash drive purchase.

I ordered this 8GB to back up my new Dell laptop. I needed 8GB but this flash drive is only 7.45GB and I could not download the backup. If it says 8GB, it should BE 8GB; not 7.45GB!!!!

This tiny flash drive is wonderful and compact. The slip cap is pieced together with the flash drive to cover the USB connection when not in use. Excellent buy.
