The SanDisk Ultra II SD PLUS, an innovative SD flash memory card with built-in USB connectivity. The new card, which works seamlessly in any SD card slot, also can be used as a high-speed USB 2.0 flash drive. The new dual-functionality device has been added to the SanDisk Ultra II product line, a family of high-performance flash memory cards with write speeds of 9 megabytes (MB) per second and read speeds of 10MB/sec.
The new Ultra II SD PLUS, which can be used in a wide variety of SD-based products - including digital cameras, PDAs, camcorders and camera phones - means greater convenience and cost savings for consumers. Now, to transfer data, images, audio or video between computers, digital cameras and other electronic devices, you don't need a card reader, cables or card adapters. Just flip the card to engage the USB connector and simply plug the Ultra II SD PLUS into any USB port. And the card also features an LED that blinks when data transfer is taking place to indicate that the card is being used as a USB flash drive. The advanced mechanical design eliminates the need for a removable cap, which can be lost, and gives consumers a dual functionality card that is fully SD compliant. The Ultra II SD PLUS will be a much more popular product than any similar device on the market because it is an SD card and SD has become the dominant standard for flash memory cards.

Happy to find these!
I have a digital camera that only uses 1GB SanDisk cards. Didn't want to purchase a new camera so searched high and low for 1GB cards. Fortunately, I found them at Overstock.com and now I'm set for lots more photos. Plus they work in my wand scanners. Many thanks.

convenient
The memory card delivers what it promises. It is more expensive; you can buy a 4 GB memory card for that price but it is so convenient to be able to insert a memory card directly into a computer. Some previous comments mentioned long waiting. I did not wait long for it to arrive. I suppose the weather might have some impacts on the delivery speed.

Great value from O......
I found this card on Overstock at a great value! I use it as part of a music library for my truck's indash receiver, to carry about 200 high quality mp3's. Card works without a glitch, holds about 12 cd''s worth of music. Geat deal!

Pro's & Con's
Product was as expected. A SanDisk 1GB memory chip which believe it or not is a hard item to find. This item is analogous to a Quarter in size and weight; but took a veeeeeeeerrrrrrrry looooonnnnnnnng time to arrive. Considering I paid for it instantly, the long shipping time was unacceptable considering the size and weight of the item.

The memory card was in great condition but I feel that it took a little long to arrive. It was about 2 weeks until I actually received the memory card.
