I have tried & tried to get this thing loaded w/songs for my son. It's not compatible w/itunes or Napster. Then tried Rhapsody-it is supposedly compatible but still won't load. Tech @ Rhapsody said it sounds defective. It does play radio stations well though. It's going back to Overstock!

I find this player to be just right for my use. I have not found it difficult to use. I have found that the volume control ring requires the right touch and angling of your finger. I purchased additional Sansa memory and initially I had some difficulty in it being recognized by the player and Windows Media Player. The downloaded instructions did not help. Once I figured out that the USB must be set to MSC the additional memory was accessible. I am only using this player for music so the memory is fine for my use. Overall I am very pleased with this unit.

Overall, I like the blend of price/reatures. The unit arrived in presine condition and worked the first time I turned it on. There was no instruction manual or software with it, but I downloaded them from Sansa'a website. It takes a little bit of time to figure out how to use everything, but after a little use, I can do most things without much trouble. The ear buds that come with it are very uncomfortable and do not stay put in my ears. I purchased a better pair form a local store. The sound quality is very good for an MP3 player. I have not put any pictures or videos on it yet, but the ones that came with it looked good. The FM radio works, but I can only get a few stations with it. The FM section must be a little weak, but sound quality is good. The case feels solid as do the controls. One word of advice though: get a protective skin or case. The front plastic can scratch or smear pretty easy.
