We were looking to get a monitor for my son he is 12 , hiss did not work so we went to many stores and they were all very expencive. I found this monitor at a great price and it is work just fine. We are happy with it and would recomend it.

The monitor is excellent on this refurbished Samsung. I would have given it 5 stars based on the price and quality of the monitor, if someone was just looking for a monitor. I have given it 3 stars because I was also looking to retire my desktop speakers to clear up some clutter on my workspace. Alas, the speakers that are built into the base of the monitor produce little sound and I had to plug my desktop speakers back in. Bottom line, buy it for the monitor alone and you will be happy.

We bought this for our second desk top as the original LCD crapped out. Monitor I bought was made in Jan-03. So it is 'older', but so what, it works just fine. If this were 2004, you'd be bragging to everyone you got this nice Samsug monitor. As far as I am concerned, Samsug is Korean for "Honda"! Pros:Clear screenColors great (not crisp like you might be used to, but for 2003, excellent)Refurbished (used), but very clean and extremely well packedLighting fast deliverySpeaker built into base of stand with volume, bass and trebile controls. For basic sound, works great and means NO EXTERNAL SPEAKERS cluttering up the desk.Came with 3 different video cords + power cord. Cons:Stand a little flimsy, so if desk moves screen might wobble a littleNo cord to connect speakers to desktop (honestly, not a big deal - just buy a cord; but I note for full disclosre)No instruction manual, but this thing ain't rocket science - you'll figure it out.Case color is that IBM grayish color. Very pleased. And nice feature/surprise was the built-in speaker in the base. Only issue I have is volume controller creates static. I do not plan to change volume while is use.

The color of the monitor is more like an ugly gray, not what I expected.Also, it has an ugly purple stripe down the side of the stand! . I do not advise the purchase of this product. ....

Screen was delivered as promised with no problems and no delays. very happy with it as backup to our laptop screen.

Ordered 2 of these and both arrived quickly in flawless condition. They were manufactured 6 years ago and are used, but are very high quality.Was reluctant to order because one reviewer did not realize that monitor screens are measured diagonally.. They ARE 17". Only negative I find is that only vertical height can be adjusted, not tilt angle.

Clear, crisp picture! Includes stero speakers with bass & treble controls. Glad I purchased this, easy to install, like any other monitor. Highly recommend!

I love this monitor! The glare reduction is amazing, screen size is awesome, and i love how the speakers are built in (though my speaker cord is missing?) The price, of course, was the best part. I would have never thought I could get such a wonderful product for such a low price. Thank you overstock :)

Price was great for this monitor. Works perfectly. We needed a 2nd monitor for an additional computer in our home & didn't want to spend a lot, so this one was perfect.

I realy like this monitor except for the fact that it is missing a wire for the speakers. Thank goodness i have speakers for my computer or else i would not have sound. Would recommend the quality of the monitor itself without the sound.

Great monitor and you wouldn't know it was refurbished. Color is great and the design is nice as well. I was expecting it to be lighter in color for some reason but it's the standard computer 'ivory' if you will. Overall, we're really satisfied and was a great deal.

Excellent product for the price. Picture quality and graphics are beautiful. Like watching a mini movie screen right at home.

I work in the public school system and needless to say, money is tight for even the most essential items so when my monitor began acting funny and I developed headaches, I knew what I needed to do. I had to purchase my own monitor or take out stock in an over-the-counter headache medication company. After researching monitors, I got the best deal for the exact monitor I wanted on Overstock. This monitor is large enough to reduce the eyestrain without increasing the font and the colors are clear and sharp.

I really like this monitor we use it with my daughters computer and it works great!! It looked brand new and is clear and sharp what a great deal thank you.

Well we received the monitor and it came quickly and in good shape. the only problem I had was we received it with out any cables for the power and sound. but talked with overstocks help department took care of that problem quickly. Other then that one thing I have had no problems with it and enjoy it everyday.

I was a little nervous about the fact the monitor was refurbished, however, I have been totally satisfied with the quality. I could never tell it wasn't new. Overall, it is a great value!

This was stated as a 17" monitor and and it is but is a 17" body with a 13" screen, totally misleading
