I ordered two of these units. They arrived within 6 business days with free shipping. They were both in like new condition and came with everything that was stated on the page. No dead pixels and no issues thus far after 2 hours of use. It would have been nice for them to have a manual and DVI to DVI cables. I don't have video cards that use VGA so I had to reuse the video cable from one of my old monitors that was a DVI to DVI cable and resourced a VGA to DVI adapter I had in the junk drawer. Assembly was easy and I had both out of the box and powered on in about 10 minutes. As mentioned in other reviews, the base is a bit wobbly. It's isn't noticeable while sitting on my office grade secretarial desk but some with less sturdy furniture might notice it through normal use. Also mentioned by other reviews; the touch buttons are a pain in the ass. They seem to randomly stop taking input sometimes. This is not a real issue though because once you have the settings dialed in most people will have no reason to revisit anything but the power button. They work but need some repeated button presses to register. They were both incredibly bright out of the box but after turning them down to about 50% they were good to go. I am using them with the auto options, which for my purposes works great. It took a bit to get used to the screen dimming as it dynamically adjusted the contrast while moving windows around from monitor to monitor but it's actually kind of cool the way it works. They do have a slight green push which I have not chosen to address yet but google "p2770FH cnet" and that review has specific settings for color that they found to be the best choice to cover most uses and minimizes the green color cast. To be honest some reviewers, including the cnet review, make a huge deal out of this but IMHO isn't that bad at all. So far so good. For $$$ I would recommend this unit. If you don't mind paying more because you need something that will represent true color for professional image and video editing then I would look elsewhere. It's great for gaming, desktop publishing, office work and general consumer applications.

After connecting the monitor, I saw 4-5 concentric circles near the center bottom of the LCD screen. At every angle, you can see these extremely distracting concentric circles that look like jelly blobs on the screen. II tried resetting to factory settings, but no matter what I did, the screen was still showing these circles. It was clearly a defective refurbished item. Additionally, the touch sensors for the controls were erratic as they would be extremely sensitive at certain times, then not register at all. Buyer beware, these refurbished monitors are a gamble. From the reviews, it looks like you have a high probably you will get a defective one and have the hassle of returning it. I would not recommend this headache to anyone.

Didn't even look refurbished. Can't tell the difference between a new screen and this. I'm not a tech but I hope to use this monitor for a long long time and I recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent monitor for office, home office or used for the family.

Great monitor at a great price. Some other posts mentioned that it doesn't tilt but it actuallt does, it just take a bit of force to tilt it back (limited angles) since the hinge is pretty tight to support the large monitor. As also mentioned, resolution is limited so as long as you know that going into it there's no surprises. My monitor arrived in like new condition and works great thus far. Doesn't come with instruction manual, just the monitor, base and VGA to DVI connector cable. Great buy for $*** No complaints here.

Great monitor! I highly reccommend using it with a HDMI connection if your computer has it, as the VGA cable provided with it is not well shielded against electromagnetic interference. You can always replace the VGA cable though with something better if you need to.

This monitor look "used" instead of "refurbished". A lot of minor scratches on the surface of screen. Touch control is very difficult to operate, sometimes not respond to the touch. The display is mostly bright with bad greyscale, resulted a poor contrast and blur icon on the screen.

I purchased this monitor to use with my Sony Vaio VPCCW17FX laptop on my desktop. So far the monitor is working great. It looks very stylish and the picture quality is great for image display and editing. I love the large size - it is great for having multiple windows open when working on projects. I would recommend this monitor to anyone who is needing a large monitor for an affordable price.

I have a 22 inch monitor and want to upgrade to a larger monitor which support 1920x1080 p to connect to a bluray player. I read a negative review of this monitor from CNET .An expert from that website said this monitor has a green tint and it is very hard to get this tint away.I am worry about the quality of this monitor especially this is a refurbished unit.When I plug in my PC to my surprise I did not see any green tint or dead pixel .I feel a relief then I plug in the bluray player to the HDMI input and there is no picture and sound at all then I went to Samsung website and download the manual because the manual was not in the box and it said this monitor is not HDCP compliant .I read the manual and follow the instruction to switch to AV mode from PC mode it still will not play.Then a few days later I suddenly got a picture from the bluray player.The instruction was Wrong.Now I just switch the input from DVI to HDMI to watch bluray Disc. not from PC mode to AV modeThe only thing Is the touch screen button is a little hard to use but not too bad.Overall a very good monitor for the price

The only real issue that I see is that the colors are a bit washed out and the viewing angles aren't great. This after calibrating it. I got this for bucks so I won't complain. But for someone that wants to share the viewing experience, consider other options. I'd say that the 'true' viewing angle from front center would be maybe 20 degrees to either side. Beyond that the picture begins to fade. As for the vertical viewing angle, There is basically none other than straight on. Stand up from your desk and instantly the colors fade, and text becomes unreadable. I bought this after my I-inc 27" monitor gave up the ghost. Perhaps using that one for so long has tainted my opinion. But this monitor cannot compare to the picture quality and viewing angles that the I-inc offered. In summary. Great price, but you definitely get what you pay for on this one. If you are on a budget and cannot get by without at least a 27" monitor grab it. If you are just looking for the best deal out there and can afford a hundred bucks more. Do that instead. Myself, I'll be getting something else the next time around. Maybe sooner than later.

First monitor received had some dead pixles, probably from shipping. Reported to Overstock and they took care of it right away. Couldn't be happier with the customer service. Monitor is huge! very nice look, screen is bright. I read some reviews of the monitor stand not being very stable. There is a screw in the base of the monitor stand to secure the post to. Once screwed in the monitor stand felt secure. I want more of these!

This monitor is excellent!!! it is extremely bright, it is huge, it is beautiful. The only complaints i guess i have are 1) the touch buttons are a little wonky sometimes and 2) the power cable has a transformer on it X/ they could not have built it inside the monitor?!?!? OH and getting a good 1920x1080 signal setup on the monitor is a little weird. You definitely have to jump through some hoops, but once this monitor is up and running, it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! buy it people :P

First monitor showed up with cracked casing around the screen right on the power button, overstock reviewed the case and sent a replacement screen within a week. Wow no hassle and it was here quick.

I upgraded from a 19inch wide and this thing is massive. This was my first Overstock item and I was a bit skeptic to buy refurbished but for the price, I decided to go for it. The monitor arrived in 10 days. Upon opening it i noticed one side of the border was coming off a bit. I was worried but i just applied pressure and it snapped back into place - no problems with that anymore. ( Most likely poor handling while shipping, the box was a bit beat with few holes too) The thing looks brand new, no dead pixels (Thank Goodness!). I hooked it up via hdmi and it had these black 1 inch borders around the screen but easily fixed from my graphics card controller software. I hear you don't have to worry about this if you use a DVI cable. The touch buttons are pretty annoying like everyone else says, but nothing unbearable. Everything else is excellent and yes it does tilt. Very happy with this purchase!

This monitor is big and awesome. It'll take a week to get used to the big size if you are upgrading from a smaller monitor. The blacks are deep due to the high contrast ratio. Nice to watch videos. I use winsplit revolution program which spits the screen into two so that i can have two windows open.... For the price i paid, cant beat it.

I got this monitor for $*** shipped, so bought 2. I almost wish I had purchased 4, except I would need a bigger apartment to contain them. Very bright, no dead pixels, great picture. The only downsides are no VESA plate in the back for mounting and the massive bezels on the sides (since I bought 2 and have them side-by-side). Still worth a lot more than I paid!

Pros: The 1ms response time, the 27" size, the wonderful dynamic contrast ratio, the slim, sleek appearance... there's nothing not to love about this monitor. I got it refurbished at an amazing price (just over $***) and you simply can't compare it to others in the same price range. Neutral facts: HDMI and DVI available with digital audio out.. it doesn't have any component slots, A/V or RF, etc. Keep in mind there are no built in speakers, so if you want to use this for console gaming or TV watching, you'll have to run the audio through by some other method. Cons: The stand is non-adjustable and very short, and no way to mount it onto the wall out-of-the-box, so the only way to raise it to an acceptable, non-neck cramping level is to stack things under it. Depending on your setup, this could make it look less cool, or could make your neck hurt. The default settings make the monitor incredibly bright, so much so that it gave me a headache. Turn the brightness down. At first you will feel like you are losing color quality, but it's just your eyes adjusting. Minor complaint, I hate touch-buttons especially if I'm trying to turn on the monitor in the dark. You never know if you ever pressed it right or not until it responds / fails to respond. Summary: I recommend this monitor very highly.
