This player works flawlessly, clear and crisp. The Picture quality is improved over standard DVD player. I feel like I am getting HD without the cost and for under fifty dollars you can't go wrong with this. Set up was very easy. If you are not good at setting up technology of any sort you will have no trouble setting up this DVD player. The DVD player runs very quiet and the load times are very reasonably. I would recommend this DVD player to everyone. Good product.
This DVD player is excellent for standard definition TVs. I bought this to replace an old Sony DVD player and I am very happy with it. I definitely recommend Samsung products.
I love the size of this dvd player because it fits perfectly on my little shelf and plays better than my other dvd player that I have in the living room, which I paid a lot more for. I would recommend this to anyone. It also comes with a cute little remote and I have programmed my all in one remote to work with it also.

I have tried different dvd products like the philips,sony and magnavox brands, finally I have found a fantastic dvd player in Samsung dvd p191. It plays all types of dvds including Dvd+RW,CDRW, DVD+R, it also plays divx format which is a bonus that you can save your holiday video clips in high quality avi,mp4 format. I just hope it will play for a long time. It is a value for the money.
