I bought this because it's a monitor that could be used as a TV. Here's why this is better than just buying a regular 23" LCD television:1) I basically I got a name brand 23 inch television for under $300. I thought that was a great deal.2) This TV/Monitor can handle 1080p. Most TVs this size are only 720. Why does that matter? Because I share the source for this television with another TV, and now I don't have to keep switching between 720 and 1080 resolution if I move to another room.3) This is a monitor. Most TVs this size do not have a PC input.I really like this product for the price. I think the picture is good and the sound is pretty good for the size.If I had to find one con, it would be the off axis viewing, which most LCDs are going to be poor for this. I have this mounted on a wall, and if you are sitting on the floor, the picture and colors are very washed out and slightly dark. Again, this is what you're going to get with most LCDs, so I'm not upset, just a note about the product.

we wanted a tv for the bedroom, something small and reasonably priced..well here it is. I chatted with customer service to make sure this could be used as a tv, not just a monitor. we have a 40 in. samsung and are pleased with it. our "mini" samsung works just as well as the larger one..as always, thank you overstock for wonderful products and service!

I bought this a bit over 2 years ago and its still working great!. Probably going to buy a second one for the office assistant computer.

I have been using this product for a number of months now & am totally pleased with it. This is the first time I've purchased a high definition TV & the difference in picture quality is astounding. It took me a little while to figure out how to attach a DVD player so it would work properly & show the movie in color but once I attached an RF Modulator everything was perfect. My children have also used the TV for gaming devices & we had no problems whatsoever.

I've now had this since April, and it works great. I use it primarily as a PC monitor, but also have my xbox 360 hooked up. Games look great, 720p/1080p content looks great via the web. I also watched the world cup over the summer, and was extremely impressed w/ the quality. I'll be buying a second for dual display setup. Highly recommended.

I purchased this in April of 2010 as a spare TV in my basement for football games. Turned it on yesterday and it kept power cycling (turning on and off repeatedly) Called Samsung they said it would be $120 to fix and that the 90 day warranty had expired. I was amazed that she could offer to fix it for $120 without even seeing the TV. Obviously this is a common problem and therefore you should not purchase this product or any refurbished item without buying an extended warranty. But this would negate the discount, right?

I wanted to wait a while before writing my review to ensure the Samsung 2333 was still working...and it is. It has a great picture...not so great audio...but that isn't unusual for this size flat screen. The only problem I had was that the screw that holds the base to the tv was stripped. I was able to tap it out and use a larger screw...but if someone dosn't have that ability this would have been a return. Overall, it's been a good set for the money.

I had already actually completed another Overstock purchase when this popped up on the side. 1" bigger and $15 cheaper?! I'll take it!! Super pleased. No manual but so easy to figure out, I hooked it right up. I love it so much, I came back to Overstock today and got a screamin' deal on a Blu-Ray player... paint me addicted. This is a great television for a spare bedroom. The channel set-up took some time and many of the channels don't come in if you use a converter box but once you get past that it's great.

I love this TV! The screen is perfect, and it's refurbished, I bought it for our kitchen, the only problem is it was missing a POWER CORD! Which I will need to purchase, so although I do love it, I am sad that I have to spend more money. The description said it included the power cord!

We use this as a TV and it works great! The picture is great, the sound is great! NO complaints!

I'm happy with this--the quality is good, and it has really helped organize my space. I used to have a flat panel monitor and a tube TV. I replaced both with this monitor. A button on the remote will switch the display between PC and television. I had been concerned about the sound, since I'd read some negative reviews, but it sounds fine to me. I haven't cranked it up though. Aesthetically it's a nice looking TV, and the base attaches very easily. There's also the option to mount it on the wall if you get a bracket.

I work for a major retailer in NYC and not only was the price better but the condition of the set was better than any return , refurbished or open box item.

Really better than I expected. The TV really looked brand new, and yes the speakers are slightly/minimally "tinny" sounding and can't get very loud, but for the size of the TV what do you expect? I am very pleased for the price.

This LCD has a great picture. Remote is easy to use. Programming was very simple. The sound is not very good with this TV. I would recommend external speakers with this unit.

Very Good for Bed Room TV. Poor in sound quality , picture quality very good.

I could have brought a 23" monitor for my computer. But for a lower price I also go a HDTV to boot!!

I have to tell you, we have a Samsung 48 inch flat screen LCD HD TV at home already, so I thought that this 23 inch Samsung flat screen LCD HD TV that I just ordered through overstock would be just as good, wrong, the picture is stretched out way to far, looks like someone pulled it on both sides, not really horrible where you can't watch it, but enough I don't watch it if I don't have to. because it's in the spare bedroom, it wasn't that big of a deal, but if I had to watch it every day i'd go crazy. I love Samsung products as a rule, but this was something I didn't expect. The price was good so I thought, why not, then the next day they offered me another 10.00 off another one, that would have been only *****, but why bother?? There isn't even a setting to hit fit screen when your watching it, oh well, a lesson learned.

Works great as a bedroom television. The built in digital tuner is great! Picture is amazing-great buy arrived in one day.

i really love the picture and sound of this samsung tv--- i love the flower design on the back .the price is good... not bad for a refurbished product.. it seems new.
