My child is almost 4 years old, so I thought it would be appropriate to get this for her, since it's made for ages 4-7. However, when the initial screen appeared, I -- an almost 40 year old -- had difficulty understanding what we were supposed to do (and I have a science background!!!). Rather than risk the chance of my daughter getting frustrated with the program, I removed it from the computer, and have not tried it again yet. Also, if presentation matters, for example, in terms of giving this as a gift, this product comes in a white envelope rather than the nice boxed packaging shown in the marketing photo. Furthermore, when I tried to register the product on-line, I encountered difficulties (it never worked). I will probably not buy this line of products again.

This is a great product. It teaches early learning for science and keeps it exciting for kids. My kids are learning about classification of animals, weathering skills, and much more. It is great; you should try it.

Very good for children. Easy and fun to use. I watched my 6-year-old granddaughter play, and I learned things I had not known! So I guess it's good for grandma's, too.

I got this game for my little boy who loves science. After i down loaded it he was so excited. but we had an issue with the volume. There was NO volume on this game at all. All there was was characters. So we couldn't even figure out what to do when the time came down to it. I ordered 2 other games from the same manufacturer. 1 worked, the other didn't work at all. It only showed error after i downloaded it and tried to play it. So... my answer is no. not worth the money to figure out if it's a good copy or not.

Great program for pre-schoolers. My son is 3 and loves to play it! Great teaching tool.

Installed on an old PC for my 5 year old grandson to use. He uses it fine by himself and is building small motor skills as well as picking up some basic knowledge. The CD needs to be in the computer so I down rated the performance as all the handling will require cleaning from the touch of a 5 year old.
