It works as advertised
Looked around for one of these at a good price and since I had some Overstock bonus dollars in my account this fit the bill. I have owned other SYBA products and never had any issues with them so I ordered it. It comes with an installer disc and it only took around five minutes (or less) to have this up and running. The unit gets pretty hot when in use which may or may not affect how long it lasts? The reason I know how hot it gets is that when I remove the USB 3.0 cable from it the whole unit comes out....I'm not sure if this is specific to my (Sony Vaio) laptop or not but extra care is needed to keep this unit in place while removing the cable. I've been getting around a 60MB/sec transfer rate which is probably as fast as the hard drive in my Vaio can read/write,, your mileage may vary of course.
