Works well.
Product advertised working on Mac OS X > 10.2, but on Lion it requires quite the search for appropriate drivers, thus deducting a single star. Once the driver is installed, the device functions perfectly up to the advertised speeds. Other than the misleading requirements, it's a five star device.

great adapter for the price just plug in to a USB plug on the laptop and was up and running no time. work great with chrome notebook laptop where it don't have a Ethernet plug.

Finally!
I have a laptop that runs on Windows XP, and only has one port for the ethernet. So I had to order a product that would connect my computer to not only a modem but to my Xbox also. Since I am just starting to use a computer with broadband internet instead of WIFI I needed to get an adapter and ethernet cable line, which I was able to due easily through Overstock.com. All I needed to due was punch in what was needed and the site showed me what to purchase, at a great price. Since I am a member I got free shipping so that when I had to buy multiple items on different times I didn't get hit with big fees. It was on the third try that I finally had the correct items (basically because I did not know which items were the ones I needed). The only problem I had was figuring out how to get them to work- I have no computer sense at all. Now as long as I have my computer on and have it connected to the internet I can use my Xbox too! And it is ten times faster than with the WIFI! Thanks, Overtock.com.

Works well under Windows
Drivers for the adapter install automatically under Windows XP and the adapter works well. For Windows 7 you have to direct the OS to the appropriate drivers (I think that the drivers aren't Windows 7 certified). Anyway it's a good adapter for a good price.
