Does not work for RAID sets
I got this card to do a raid 10 of 4x3Tb drives. I never did I get the raid working properly, upgraded board BIOS, got latest GUI software to control but no luck. Tried configuring in GUI and in BIOS numerous times, tried to get the mirroring done off-line and on-line numerous times, but it never completed without some kind of error (numerous different ones). Switched primary drives around but the mirror was always degraded. It is not the drives neither it is the hardware on this card but I suspect the software is flaky. Put the card in through mode and it is working great as 4 independent drives (but that is not what I got the card for....). Oh well, you get what you pay for - if you are interested in RAID I recommend another product - contemplate a hardware RAID controller (more $$$).
