The fan was just a little louder than expected, but well worth the price.

Did not work
I would not recommend this product. I gave it as Christmas gifts to two family members. When they hooked them up to their laptops they both made a bad sound and did not appear to be working.

Coolest laptop pad
My laptop often overheated, but once I got this product home, it hasn't overheated since. It took less than a minute to set everthing up and it's super quiet. The price was a steal and free s&h.

Great buy
Bought a new 14" laptop and, of course, needed a new fancy cooling pad. Great value, inexpensive, not cheap. Love the 20 degree tilt. Keeps computer nice and cool without a lot of noise (can hardly tell its on, so its good to have the light). I would recommend this to anyone! One last note: Pay attention to the dimensions. I have a 14" laptop and it fits perfectly, overhanging each side by about a quarter inch. A 15" laptop should only double that.
