when i ordered this camera it said 12X zoom but it really only a 3X optical zoom and a 4X digital and you lose quality with a digital zoom and i wasnt very impressed with the camera so dont waste your time

This camera was purchased for my Father in Law, soon to be 90 years old and a ex-profession photographer. He now has troubles loading operating and unloading his old 35mm cameras and this camera was purchased for him because of it's lack of complexity, the 3 inch viewing screen and he's unable to get out to have film developed. With this he'll be able to take pics and have them instantly to view and be able to look back whenever he pleases. we were so impressed with the ease of use we purchesed a second for my 84 year old Mother.

This camera is awesome and easy to use. It takes great pictures if you learn to use the correct settings for the picture you are taking. I have been using a digital camera for years and this is by far the best one that I have found yet. It has the best features. Some people have it rated low but I would guess they didn't learn to use it and read the owners manual. The manual is included for a reason. I have had it for about 3 months now and have enjoyed it and have had no problems.

When I saw this camera, I thought it was a great deal. So I was excited when it arrived so quickly. But as soon a I opened it, I was very disappointed. It was very cheap looking, from the moment I pulled it out of the package. I looked like if you held it the wrong way it could crack. But I wanted to give it a chance. So I put the batteries in, and put the memory card that came with it in. The memory card is now stuck in the camera. On the camera it say push to eject, well that just makes it get stuck even further down. I did snap a few pictures with it, and the quality was okay, but nothing to brag about. I am thoroughly disappointed with the camera and have no intentions of keeping it.
